The new MIJANA Restaurant & Grill of Scottsdale is open and we are looking for dancers of all kinds. Primarily bellydancers as it will be a Middle Eastern Restaurant, but we are also looking for Salsa, Flamenco, Gypsy, Folkloric dancers and more!
This is a PAID, professional performance that will be held weekly and you will have the opportunity to perform regularly at the valley's most UPSCALE venues with an elite dance ensemble.
Auditions: Sunday, Nov 15, 2009 from 2-4 pm
Location: 4408 N Miller Rd #101 in Scottsdale. The southwest corner of Camelback and Miller in Scottsdale. We are the YOGA studio right next to the Sunflower Market. It is THE only commercial shopping plaza at the intersection - you cannot miss it.

All ages, skill levels, sizes, shapes, dance disciplines and even beginners with no experience will be considered.

Troupes are encouraged!

Teachers feel free to bring your students.

There is no registration or pre-sign ups required for the audition.

All particpants and talent must arrive BY 2:15 pm. BE PUNCTUAL!

Private auditions or make up auditions will not be scheduled.

Bring an 8x10 photo of yourself IN COSTUME. Snapshots are ok as long as they are printed at 8.5 x 11 or 8X10.

Please prepare a 2 minute solo and arrive in FULL HAIR & MAKE UP. It is recommended that you arrive IN COSTUME as there will not be time for you to change.

Bring music for your audition piece on CD or iPod.

Any Mediterranean genre of dance: Flamenco, Bellydance, Turkish, Moroccan, Folkloric, Egyptian, Salsa/Latin, American Tribal, Ethnic Ballet, Fusion Inspired, and even Gothic Tribal and Fantasy Bellydance are welcome. Got an interesting idea? Try it! I might like it!!!

Even FIRE performers are welcome! Fire performers will have to audition outside - I know it is hot in August but suck it up...you are an artist! Professionals make-do with the space and conditions they are given.

It is preferred that you keep with the theme of ethnic/mediterranean music and costuming.

Must be family friendly - all ages appropriate.
